First contact 6 weeks ago asked to a a covid test and get back. Done so. Cam3 back days later and told doctor I've had this cough and congestion for 2 weeks already trying all shop remedies I was told to call back a week later. I called and was given a weeks tablets without diagnosis. They done nothing so called back a week later and was booked in for a phone back no call. This carried on for 2 weeks and well they actually rung me he was rude shouting at me refused to see me and then hung up when I asked if you can give an accurate diagnosis over the phone without asking questions at least and then to shove more pills with out diagnosis is dangerous let alone stuff im allergic to (penicillin). Receptionist has also judged me on my autism. Asking me "do you really have it as it isn't on records" this is shocking to say the least but then to find out she was on someone else's records not mine. Avoid

Situation: • I needed my signature to be witnessed by a responsible person in the community / member of a professional body. This is virtually impossible to do in a ‘Covid World’ with meeting-up restrictions! I knew my local surgery would be able to help, if they had time. I spoke to the Receptionist at the surgery at 3pm on Friday, 19 March, who arranged for the doctor on duty to give me a call back. Dr Corbett turned around my request that same afternoon. A hugely speedy response from the whole team. Against the current backdrop, when you are so all busy, your help was much appreciated. Thank you.

I have successfully attended to my coved vaccine in County Oak Medical Practice on 13-Feb-2021 thanks to your easy booking system. It was great meeting with a cheerful familiar faces from seven dials Medical center Dr/ Joe Corbett and one of the receptionists. I went to my appointment with lots of questions on my mind to ask, but before I start asking, Dr/Corbett started to explain everything that I was going to ask very clearly in an easy cheerful way. I have been with this surgery for only a few weeks and have already decided to go to a different one. I tried to explain that the medication I am currently on is making me feel suicidal and that it isn’t safe for me to be on it. Dr Sadler was unsympathetic and frankly, quite rude about the situation. Claiming that it wasn’t something he would be dealing with. And that I’d be better off talking to the mental health team. I told him that GP’s have been in charge of prescribing my medication for mental health for over 10 years. When I asked him to explain why he didn’t want to help get me off of medication that is making me suicidal, he refused to answer the question. Then said “I can do a referral to the mental health team if you want.” In a tone that would suggest he didn’t care about the outcome. I do not understand why he refused to help me and why he would be so unsympathetic towards a patient that has opened up about being suicidal. There is a patient information leaflet that comes with medication stating that if your symptoms worsen, or if you are suffering from suicidal thoughts, contact your GP. Yet when i did exactly what i was instructed to do, i was refused help. And what's worse, he didn't bother to even say/spell my name correctly and has openly told me he didn't have my notes in front of him during our appointment on the telephone. Do not waste your time with this doctor or this surgery as they are completely incompetent.

Excellent communication from reception staff regarding Covid vaccination appointment. Also great advice from Dr Sadler regarding general information sought on vaccination status group. We are very lucky to get such effective care from our surgery.
